Accountant for sole traders — tax and BAS done online
One fixed monthly fee covers your annual tax return, four BAS lodgements, Xero set-up advice and a tax planning call — lodged by a registered tax agent, managed entirely online.
The sole trader plan is $150/mo — or a single annual fee if you prefer to pay once — and it covers the whole compliance year: the annual return with your business schedule, four quarterly BAS, Xero subscription advice and a proper tax planning conversation before 30 June. No timesheets, no hourly billing, no invoice because you asked a question.
Everything happens online. Receipts go to the portal or straight from your phone, bank feeds keep Xero current, and each BAS is reviewed by a registered BAS-and-tax agent before it is lodged. Before the annual return goes in, you get a 20-minute video walkthrough so you know exactly what you’re paying and why.
If your bookkeeping needs doing rather than reviewing, add outsourced bookkeeping. And when profits grow to the point a company or trust would save real tax, we’ll raise it first — the small business restructure rollover usually means the move costs far less than owners expect.

Advice on when to incorporate
When profit justifies a company or trust, we tell you — and the restructure rollover can make it cheap.
Questions, answered
What does the sole trader plan include?
Your annual tax return with business schedule, four quarterly BAS lodgements, Xero subscription advice, a pre-30-June tax planning call and portal access with e-signing — for $150/month ex GST, or $1,650 if you prefer one annual payment.
Do I need Xero for this plan?
You need some form of digital records, and we standardise on Xero because it's what makes the fixed fee work. We'll advise the right subscription level — many sole traders only need a starter plan — and set up bank feeds so your side of the work is minutes, not weekends.
Is GST registration included?
Yes — if you're over the $75,000 turnover threshold (or want to register voluntarily), we handle GST registration and then lodge your quarterly BAS as part of the plan. If you're under the threshold, we'll tell you honestly that you may not need BAS at all yet.
What if I also have a salary job?
Very common. Your employment income, ABN income and any deductions are reconciled in the one annual return, and we check your PAYG instalments so you're not surprised by a tax bill from the side business. It's all covered by the plan.
When should I switch from sole trader to a company?
Usually when profit consistently exceeds what you need to live on, when contract risk grows, or when clients demand it. The small business restructure rollover often lets you move into a company without a tax cost. We flag it proactively — the plan includes that judgement, not just the lodgements.
Can you also do my bookkeeping?
The sole trader plan reviews your Xero file; it doesn't do the weekly coding. If you'd rather never touch the books, add the bookkeeping service and we take over bank coding, receipts and reconciliation — the two services are designed to stack.
